MOP Museum of Photography
Studio Luc Derycke
MOP (Museum Of Photography) aims to mirror and challenge the entire history of photography. It contains approx. 800 polaroids that document the artist’s daily life and travels around the globe in the course of a year. The collection tries to break the boundaries of the personal and the institutional, by placing all photographs under one roof in original size and seemingly arbitrary yet chronological order. The photographs are shifting from familiar, atmospheric to staged, portraits, found footage, experimental, and kitsch. Each page in the book contains 4 colorful photographs.
