Prolegomenon of diagnostic endoscopic ultrasound
Vincent De Wilde graduated as gastroenterologist in 1994 and as oncologist in 2014, was appointed master of internship in gastroenterology in 2007, became a fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association in 2014 and was titled as academic consultant of the University of Ghent in 2015. In 2002, he received the Diplôme d’Université d’Echoendoscopie Digestive by the University René Descartes of Paris (Prof. Dr. Stanislas Chaussade).
His special interests are pancreatology, neuroendocrine tumours and endoscopic ultrasound. With this book, he wrote an ancillary bedside companion, conceptually written as an introductory summary of the wide range of information on diagnostic endosonography, and as a pocket model reference book for daily use.
